 | The war news is certainly encouraging. everything seems to be going pretty well according to plan – I especially like these Peace Rumors – one of these days it’ll be the real McCoy – what a wonderful day that’ll be! I Love You Peg Darling! When you write to Lloyd tell him I have a personal grudge against the Air Corp – I’d be on my way home now if it wasn’t for them! Always like the ground better anyhow! Will really enjoy that trip homeward when & if it comes – shouldn’t say if cause someday it will come true – what I mean is in the near future! I Love You! Guess old Chess is still going – I should write him a letter – but don’t know whether he’s still with the outfit or not – they’ve really gone thru hell and there’s very few original ones left – by the way I was the first of the original company to get it – couse there wasn’t to many left the the time we came over!
