	Love Your Darling! Love me?             Friday Feb, 11             You Darling! Peggy you Sweetheart     Just received two small letters from you- one short - and one long -- will try and answer them -but first I'm glad you liked the picture because it was for you it was taken... and when it was snapped my mind was on you because I told the guy I was simulating that my Sweetheart was in the room...  Honey I'm pretty dumb as to who's who in the movie and radio life -- but please don't think me to ignorant -- who in the hell is Frank Sinatra - I know he sings but just what did he accomplish to become so popular?  Guess I was mired in the desert to long -- but it's strange to me.  Honey I'm happy that you went to Holy Communion - I'll try & make it this week...receiving Holy communion had a lot of inspiration!  I love you Darling!!     Honey what you spend on yourself doesn't bother me... I only wish we could get more!!  However, there's one thing that is bothering me -- Honey I have 56 bucks left - with no pay in sight before furlough! Of course if we run to short we can always
	hit up our relatives! Oh heck,let's not fuss over this damnable cash! What I wouldn't give to be with you is hard to say - all this blood money we're making now seems cursed -- it goes to fast!  Honey after the war (sounds swell eh?) I've decided you're not working a lick.  We'll get us an apartment - and if necessary I'll go back to Kraft's -- however I'm eying the same thing Joe Liebergen has - if he can do it - can't see why your old man can't!  Honey don't change your hair style eh?  What brought that on I don't know -- but I want my Honey looking just like I left Her -- it's everything we work for!  I love you!     Peg Darling I probably won't be able to write you between the 14th and 19th -- of course I can't tell you when we're moving -- oh my goodness -- tah tah ------- nuff said!! I love you!!     Hay you!!!!!!!!!! guess I've waited patiently about long enough for that picture of you!! Or have you forgotten about it?  But you promised that I'd get it ---  I love you !!!
	It was cold last night -- so cold that I froze beer in a bottle and that is plenty nippy!!  This country - I'm glad were leaving -- it's hot during the day & freezing at night the nut!!  I love you!     Honey what I told you last night explains why I didn't know that movie character we were with -- from all indications I took the play away from him!  Peggy Darling you connected excellently as to why I never went out with Cies and the guys -- they were out with women- and even if I can stag - I prefer being alone with memories -- they to me are worth more than all the women in the Los Angeles-Hollywood or anywhere - except Minneapolis -- and there you are -- the only one I care to see -or be seen with -- Peggy Darling I love you -- and going out without you isn't going out -- so it is simply staying in -- I've waited 19 months - and I can wait the rest -- I'm happier Honey living with a memory than going out – I love you so much Darling!     Must close - I love you!         God Bless you!         Love & Kisses         Johnnie
