My Darling Wife:
Sorry for not writing yesterday, but at the time I should have been concentrating on a letter to you I was foolishly wasting my few shillings in a friendly poker game, and before I knew it the time had slipped by to lights out -- forgive me Hon? I Love You!
Don’t know whether all the planes are off their course or if the ships are being sunk but darn Honey I haven’t had a letter for four long days, and do I ever miss them Honey! I Love You more than ever, and miss you awfully!
Hone there are some interesting cartoons in the English papers that I

Somewhere in England
Dearest Darling:
Even here we pull E.Q, so it’s Sunday and as usual I’m pulling it. Can’t I figure out how their able to juggle the moves around so efficiently to enable me to pull it on a weekend every time, not that it makes any difference but oh gee how I’d like to be sleeping! I Love You!

So Parky? has another kid hey? What a man he is! Four in so few years! How come you didn’t tell me about it Honey? Mary wrote me a letter which was my source of information! I hear from them once in awhile now. The

After the war that’ll be a great thing to look at, did you have the pictures we took in Lebanon developed yet? I’d like to get one Honey if you think of sending them, I’ll send them back as quickly as possible. Gee Honey, do I ever miss you, wish things would end so we can once again be together. My goal at present is to be home by March some way, somehow. Maybe it will be all over by then – I hope! This deal about discharging some men after the European war sounds good, but I

don’t imagine it will be us, cause there’s to many with more service & veterans of battles that will have No. 1 priority. Oh well that’s crossing to wide a bridge before coming to it! I Love You Darling!

Did you have a good time at the Picnic? Remember the Kraft Picnic, we sure had a swell time didn’t we? I sure do miss you, and hope & pray it won’t be to long a time till were side by side! I Love You!

Was reading a book, and it had a delightful joke on Child [learning?] that I thought better be passed on – it goes like this Hubby: Darling, tell me, how did you ever get

get Junior to eat olives? Wifey: Simple. I started him on Martinis. Hmmm funny eh? So you’d better lay off the Martinis!! That’s almost a joke in itself, cause I guess that’s almost fantastic as the kid eating olives! I Love You!

Wrote to Josephine, and plan on writing home & to the Rudegins! A rough schedule for me!
Well Darling – Be good & God Bless You! Take care of yourself!
I Love You!
Thinking of You Always,
